Why "Golden"?
Gold is the metal that survives the crucible — it refuses to rust, decay, or lose its shine. In alchemy, that permanence symbolizes the perfected self; in functional medicine, it mirrors a body whose systems work in concert, resilient to stress and time.
Three reasons the name still fits:

- Lineage & Evolution: The name also honors our roots — Dr. Craig Reeves' original Golden Healthcare practice. What began as a single Las Vegas clinic has grown into something broader, carrying forward his credo: heal the whole person, and you heal generations.

Marathon shifts and grab-and-go meals eventually triggered a metabolic crash that sent him — still in his late twenties — into a full-tilt exploration of nutrition, biohacking, and herbal medicine. What began as self-rescue became a calling: make cutting-edge, clinician-grade tools radically accessible to everyone on the path.

Dr. Michael A. Fleming, DC — Functional-Medicine Systems Innovator & Director of Product Development
A Las Vegas native with 25+ years in practice, Dr. Fleming began his career alongside mentor Dr. Craig Reeves in 1998 and has been refining whole-system protocols ever since. His blend of clinical rigor and athletic-field experience makes him the architect behind every practitioner-grade product we carry at Golden Health Quest.

Licensed in Nevada in 1978 after earning his Doctorate from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, Dr. Reeves practiced for 31 years before retiring in 2009. His life stitched together engineering grit, clinical precision, and a relentless drive to create.
